Hi, I'm Carly (she/her) and I am a Public History graduate student at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. I received my B.A. in Family History and Genealogy at Brigham Young University. I love researching, creating, reading, and telling a good story.
I am currently working on my capstone project, an oral history about a rural Iowa farm and the owner's dream to build a seminary there. I love history and believe it should be made personal and accessible to all people. I would love to see more genealogy in public history and more public history in genealogy.
I am interested in pursuing projects regarding family history, genealogy, women's history, cultural history, and digital history.
